Battlefield 5 Battle Royale – Battlefield V Release Date & System Requirements

The Battle Royale mode has gained extreme popularity with the success of Fortnite. With Call of Duty recently announced that they would add the mode as well, so did Battlefield 5, or Battlefield V as its official name. The rival to the best Battle Royale is getting intense as most of the big games are going in that direction.

The game company DICE just announced that they will include a Battle Royale-style multiplayer mode when the game will be released later this year and will be available for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.

EA and DICE revealed a short trailer for Battlefield 5 in May, and the rumors of a Battle Royale mode started naturally. An anonymous source later told the VentureBeat that Battlefield 5 might not be prepared for a Battle Royale-themed mode; however, it turned out they were.

When will Battlefield 5 Battle Royale be released

Battlefield 5 will be released on October 19, 2018, and was announced at the EA’s E3 Press conference in June. The Battle Royale is going to be done in Battlefields own way, whatever that could be.

The most significant competition could be PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), by just the looks of the two games. However, Battlefield 5 will be set during World War II which could add to an additional niche in the Battle Royale category.

Battlefield 5 Battle Royale Game Play

As of now, the information of the new Battlefield 5 mode is insufficient. However, DICE said that the Battle Royale mode will include the brand of action and destruction as the Battlefield franchise is previously known for. Other than that the announcement was very limited, and not specific information as how many players were revealed. On the other hand, they promised to talk more about new game mode later this year. So we guess its hang tight and wait.

Generally, what we so far saw on the Battlefield 5 is that they’ve focused on big scaled maps and multiplayer campaigns. Another new extraordinary difference to the gameplay is that destruction has been revamped. Now the demolition of buildings is entirely physics-based, instead of a pre-made animation. You can now destroy buildings in all different ways and even shoot bullets thru walls. You could technically shred structures with your bullets and eliminate enemies inside; this could be a refreshing addition to a Battlefield V Battle Royale mode.
