Choosing the best strategy for Legion TD 2 can be difficult. It’s a Tower Defense game with very finely tuned lines between economy and power. You need to thread the needle carefully, or you will end up with an imbalance, which can lead to an eventual inevitable loss.

The biggest problem is that you can get behind, not even know it, and be so far behind in your economy, even if you are still cleaning waves, that you don’t even notice until it’s too late, and the enemy has amassed an impressive economy behind your back.

These are a bunch of the most common starts in the game. There are more units we could try, and I feel bad if I missed your favorite, but these are the ones I am most familiar with.

Best Income

The biggest issue with the early game is creating enough units on the board to hold attacks and building enough workers to be able to compete with your opponent’s economy in the late game.

My strategy for combating this difficult balance is using the most efficient units in the first few rounds to make sure I can get the most workers out in the first few waves as possible. When I first started thinking about this problem, it occurred to me that the best strategy would be to get the lowest cost of units on the board that will clear each wave, and the units that take the most time to clear, in order for the economy you are creating the most time to work.

Hence, I think that the lowest DPS / Highest Tank / Lowest Cost units are probably the best for this.

As you can see from the table at the top, some units are easily able to tank the first few waves of the game, while still being cost-efficient. Let’s take a look at some numbers:

Gateguard

From the table, you can see that Gateguard at first seems like a great unit, you have enough gold for 3 workers and a solid 5 workers start from wave 1, and you can simply buy another one for wave 2, and just buy workers for wave 3. The problem that, is without causing your opponent to leak for some reason, there’s no way to get to 100g for another gatekeeper after wave 1. you need another unit on the board. And, if you have a unit that costs 30g and can clear with your Gateguard, then you can have 6 workers and clear wave 2 potentially. However, this hypothetical exercise doesn’t account for other units you have, since there are thousands of possible team comps, and we can’t talk about them all.

The point is, the Gatekeeper, while good on wave 1, will fall apart on wave 2 without some backup.

Oathbreaker

This excellent unit can hold wave 1 with ease, and can almost hold wave 2 by itself. However, again you will need another unit on wave 2, similar to the Gateguard, you will need other units to clear waves 2 and 3. In this case, with wave 2 you need 2 Oathbreakers, which you cannot get by Wave 2 with 5 workers on wave 1.

However, unlike the Gateguard, Oathbreaker is the level 2 upgraded version of the Chained Fist, and you do have access to at least a splitting tank that you can use to help with waves 2 and 3. However, you will still need a DPS unit somewhere on the board as even 2 Chained Fists and one Oathkeeper will not clear wave 2.

Yozora

Yozora is considered to be one of the best, if not THE best tanks. She will tank waves 1.2 and 3 solo.

PLEASE NOTE: Yozora will only tank wave 3 with a sliver of health, and it’s recommended you pair her with at least one more unit to help with wave 3 since if they send even a snail, you will leak.

Starting Yozora will allow you to dump all your gold into workers from waves 1 and 2, and you should have a very healthy economy, even with shoring up your wave 3 with some fighters to plan for an enemy send.

Priestess of the Abyss

This DPS unit is one of the only units that can clear waves 1,2, and 3 solo. The downside to this unit is that a 40 mythium send on wave 2 is likely to crush her, and the same on wave 3. She can hold a snail on both waves, but nothing more. She has a great heal that she uses to carry the waves, but a little more DPS in the wave is always going to hurt her.

However, if you manage to survive the first 3 waves with no leaks, you should have 9 workers and 83 gold on Wave 4 build phase.

Wileshroom

The tank with room to grow. The Wileshroom is actually an underrated tank. If you have any kind of healing on your team, from the Head Chef, or some Desert Pilgrims, the regen on the unit, combined with the fact that it starts at 50% HP, means it can outlast quite a few enemies, especially when combined with some good single-target DPS, which chew through units quickly and lowering the overall DPS the Wileshroom has to tank, giving its regen even more value.

Now, at the start of the game, the regen on the Wileshrrom is really powerful, and especially if you use a split strategy to half the DPS on each unit, I think the Wileshroom is a viable tank and a good start.

The downside again is that we don’t typically play this game in a vacuum, and we are going to get sends. The Wileshroom will handle sends on wave 3 poorly, anything other than a single snail and you will leak. So, just like other units, you need a bit of backup on round 3 when playing with other players.

End Game

Okay, the elephant in the room is the end game, and how viable each of these starts is for your end game, and the truth is, some of these tanks will fit well into your comp and some will not. However, any start that gives you 2 extra workers over your lane opponent on wave 3 will snowball you into a lead that more than makes up for having a unit that’s maybe not as viable late game as it was at the start of the game.

My recommendations for your first few waves

I think that depending on your starting fighters, and what you are comfortable playing, a Yozora, Wileshroom or an Oathbreaker start is incredibly strong. However, which tank you choose should consider your overall team comp. A single-target strategy favours splitting the wave, and slowly taking out one enemy unit at a time, while an AoE build favors a single hearty front line with a pile of AoE units behind it punishing the wave at the same time. Yozora is a great AoE tank, but may not be the most cost-efficient in a splitting strategy until a bit later in the game. Keep in mind you can always build on either the right or the left side of the map at first, dealing with the entire wave at once, and then split later by building up the opposite side of the map with tanks to split the wave when the waves get a bit harder to deal with at once.

The big con is obvious, you will get an additional 20 rounds compared to the stock mag. This makes a huge difference as you can never have enough ammo in this game.

You will literally run into 5-10 enemies at once some times, making this a very important attachment. However, when it comes to the cons we got less aim down sigh speed and decrease in movement speed. The movement speed is in our opinion the biggest drawback, as many attachments have the same con. You don’t want to be a slow target so if you use this, make sure not to stack too many movements speed nerfs.

11. 10mm Mag for mp5

If you are one who really prefers the mp5 and its incredible high fire rate when the 10mm mag is a given for you. It will turn it into the ultimate melting machine on the battlefields.

Check for this attachment under the guns magazine section; if you do not have it yet, we highly recommend getting it.

Essentially, it gives extra damage, but in return, sacrifices some of the overall fire rates and aiming recoil. But to be honest, this is a weapon made for close combats, and with the extra damage, you will quickly get more killstreaks. A mandatory attachment, in our opinion, for the mp5.

10. Light Weight Barrel

Making the mp5 even stronger, go with the lightweight barrel. This will give a quicker aim-down-sight speed, which can be the difference between a win or loss in a duel.

What this means is that you can look down at your sights quicker compared to before. However, like most attachments, there are pros and cons.

With this particular addon, you’ll lose a bit of your current bullet velocity. But that shouldn’t be much of a problem if you have an aggressive playstyle and always on the move.

This attachment can also be used with the m4a1. Still, we feel it’s much more suitable for the mp5 as the m4a1 is a more versatile weapon, and the bullet velocity can often be to your disadvantage. But if you spend most of your time indoors, it can be a good pick.

9. Heavy-Duty barrel

With the opposite of the light barrel, we have the heavy-duty barrel.

If you are looking for more impact as opposed to mobility with your weapon, you will be best suited to go for the heavy-duty barrel. In this case, you will increase your speed for aim-down-sight, but on the other hand, get more enhanced range damage along with better bullet velocity.

Much more suitable for mid and long-range situations, a must-have for many guns in Modern Warfare.

8. Underbarrel (Tactical Foregrip)

While continuing with the best barrel attachments of Call of Duty, we have the underbarrel next in line. With the tactical foregrip attachment, you’ll get access to an angled grip that helps keep the weapon very steady when you aim.

Extra useful for long-range situations obviously, especially with heavy firing guns with low fire rate.

When you use this attachment, you get benefits such as aiming stability as well as recoil stabilization but at the cost of movement speed. Not a great pick for the rusher!

However, like most magnification, it will increase the idle-sway control as the biggest drawback of this scope.

4. Frangible Wounding

As you might have noticed by now, when playing Modern Warfare, there is a regeneration of your health while not in combat. This can be particularly annoying when chasing an enemy that is getting away.

With the frangible wounding attachment, you will briefly delay or disable the existing regeneration of the enemy player’s health. This can be great in mid-range situations where you know you have got a great chunk of the enemies’ health, and you have to run after.

You don’t have much time in must fights as you probably will end up in another person’s scope very soon. This enables you to finish more kills instead of getting a lot of assists. Not the most impressive attachment, but still an excellent addition if it fits your playstyle.

3. Frangible Disabling

Very much like the perk above, this disables your enemy, this time with movement speed. Not only that, it will disable their tactical spring for a short time frame if you hit their legs. Aiming for the legs is not exactly a good idea, but still, a nice bonus if you do.

This crippling power and movement speed decrease are especially useful for long-range weapons with a magnification sight. This will enable you to hit more shots as their movement speed slows down, hence making them a slower target to hit.

Not all weapons offer this particular attachment, and we can only guess it’s because it would be an annoying feature for the opponents.

2. Vertical Foregrip

If the aim is your most significant advantages, we highly recommend the vertical foregrip attachment. Many heavy-duty weapons or even the M4A1 will have a quite substantial kick back while firing. This will easily offset your crosshair after each shot.

However, with this attachment, you will gain enhanced vertical control of the recoil that happens after you fire your weapon.

Making it much easier to sustain a steady aim, but with the drawback of some movement speed. A small sacrifice for better control, in our opinion.

1. Sleight of Hand

If you find your self in a lot of close combat duels that are stressful, this attachment will give an advantage.

This will provide you with extra reload speed. Additionally, with the big surprise, no sacrificing regarding movement speed, recoil, damage loss, or any other feature for that matter.

In other words, this attachment gives no downside to your performance, just a very nice perk in situations where quickness is everything. This might very well be the best attachment in Modern Warfare regards to its versatility and no cons. Some times the simple things are the greatest.

If you are experiencing any performance issues. We would recommend before doing any in-game settings to check your operating system and graphics drivers, that can be the source of many problems related to lag, crashes, rubber band lag or stuttering.

Make sure your Windows and Nvidia or AMD drivers are up-to-date and configured correctly. You will be amazed at how often you miss a driver update for your graphics card.

After that, try running VRAM with maximum settings inside Modern Warfare and set everything else to default settings. If you are using a high-end graphics card then you can make do with a higher setting, but if VRAM is limited, then you should turn this setting down.

FIFA 20 Best Formations: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City & Liverpool

FIFA 20 has been endorsing Volta football in almost every advertising campaign in the past few months. As much of the hype they’re trying to create around it, everyone knows that it all comes down to picking your favorite teams and playing a regular 11v11 match for the ultimate bragging rights.

Fifa’s classic 11v11 mode has been their highlight ever since the game’s inception.

So what’s changed since Fifa 19? A LOT!

The overall gameplay speed has reduced significantly adding more realistic reactions and a controlled pace to the game. Tactics now play a very important role as more and more data is being fed into the game every year. New formations have been added and users are creating their very own formations as well. The teams that are being mentioned below ideally use a 4-3-3 formation with variations in terms of width in the midfield. Some teams stay compact, whereas others use a wider formation.

Let’s Dissect the top teams in the game that are using the traditional 4-3-3 formation,

Barcelona

The first noticeable change is on the left wing. Antoine Greizman has now replaced Philippe Coutinho and has an overall attribute of 89. Also, Frankie De Jong joins the midfield leaving Vidal on the bench along with Dembele and Umtiti.

The best formation for Barcelona in Fifa 20 remains the same 4-3-3. Making use of Dembele as a second-half substitute will be key, as his pace is literally unstoppable against tired wing-backs. After a successful domestic treble campaign in 2018-2019, EA has made sure that City remains the most powerful team in England. This team is all about the midfield, they even have with players like Leroy Sane with 90+ attributes on the bench. Bringing him on in the second is definitely doing to cause worries for any opponents.

Manchester City default tactic is set to press aggressively without the ball. With the ball, City’s offensive tactic is possession-based and you can notice a lot of players coming closer asking for the ball rather than making support runs. Also, this team might not always win aerial battles because of their frontline’s physique. Hence, make sure you use driven passes (especially while using players like De Bryune) instead of the usual long ball passes.

Also, if you’re trailing and you’d like to attack your opponent from both wings, Mahrez would be a good option along with Sane. The amount of speed available within this team is insane.

Liverpool

Champions of Europe! Liverpool is the second-highest-rated team from England despite their UCL success. Three of the best defenders in Europe are probably in Liverpool. Virgil van Dijk who’s also been nominated for the 2019 Ballon D’or, is a rock-solid player in Fifa 20 as well. Their front line is also as solid as their back four.

With the likes of both Mane and Salah in the starting lineup, clearly Liverpool prefers a wider formation with the constant switch of wings for instant counter-attacks. Making use of the players in wide position is the strategy to go for when choosing Liverpool.

FIFA 20 Volta Modes: Everything You Need to Know Guide

Fifa 20 is out now and EA has introduced major changes in its gameplay as well as multiple new modes to have fun playing football. Mixed reviews are pouring in as the game is being played day by day. We got our hands on the game through the early access offer EA has rolled out. After three days of intense gaming sessions, here’s everything you need to know about FIFA 20 and its new game modes!

Fifa 20 Classic mode

Straight off the bat, you’ll notice a dip in the overall gameplay speed that you’ve gotten used to in Fifa 19. In all honesty, Fifa 20 does have a more realistic pace to the game when compared to its predecessors. Players now have a fraction of a second more to make decisions and take control of the game a bit better.

Penalties and freekicks have changed drastically and will take some time for anyone to get used to it (including the pros). The proper technique hasn’t been perfected yet and might take a few weeks for the pros to figure it out. Apart from this, all the major skill moves from the previous titles remain included and a few new ones have been added.

Unfortunately in this edition of FIFA, Juventus has been renamed to “Pienmonte Calcio” as EA failed to renew the official license package of the club this year. Do not worry! “Cristiano Ronaldo is still very much a part of FIFA 20.

Volta Football

EA has brought in 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 and futsal into its available list of modes. This is basically a colorful re-introduction of FIFA street ( a PS2 game title) with some insane graffiti themed graphics and whole new bunch of characters.

Volta football has a story mode which start by assembling a team and climbing up the street ranks. This guide is not going to feature any story spoilers, but yes, you’ll have to play through the script to unlock various stadium locations and other perks.

The character you choose to play has tons of customizable cosmetics to choose from. EA has gone for a “swagger” approach by instilling strong emotional characters into their script.

New Game modes in House Rules

Fifa 19 had introduced new offline game modes under the tab “house rules”. Now, you can play these modes online and EA has even added two exciting new additions to the game.

Mystery Ball

This mode is absolutely chaotic when played the first time. Later it slowly becomes exciting and very addictive.

The team holding possession of ball is gifted single fully boosted attribute which is mentioned on the top right of the screen. These attributes are selected at random and even have multipliers linked with them. For example, goals scored during a 3x multiplier awards 3 goals to the team.

The boosted attributes can be any one of the following,

Speed Boost
Dribbling Boost
Shooting Boost
Passing Boost
All boost: All attributes are boosted making literally every player on the team a GOAT

Everytime the game is stopped by the whistle, the trait changes. The key of this game mode is to understand how to make use of each trait and perform accordingly. For example, when “speed boost” is in play, the whole team makes offensive support runs beating defenders in a matter of a few strides. Just make sure your players are onside and hold that sprint button down.

As mentioned previously, make sure you’re monitoring the multipliers and utilize them at the right time. Multipliers are decided at random and can change the result of the match at any given moment.

King of the hill

King of the hill is the second addition to the existing playlist available under the “House Rules” section of Fifa 20.

In this mode, a rectangle box appears at random positions on the field. The main objective is for either one of the teams have to hold possession within the mentioned box. A timer which starts at “0” appears under each team’s player names and it changes “1x, 2x and 3x” depending on the amount of time the ball was within the box.

The number shown in the circle signifies the goal multiplier. For a team to get on the scoreboard they have to hold possession and make sure the multiplier isn’t at 0 when they shoot for goal. If the multiplier is at “0” and a goal is scored, it becomes void and a goal kick is given. Scoring when the multiplier is at “3x” grants three goals which is the max multiplier in this mode.

This mode primarily focuses on holding position and playing short passes. At times the game forces you to keep possession deep within your own half, forcing you to play short defensive passes as well. Overall, a new exciting mode with goal multipliers and a possession driven gameplay.

The long-awaited Classic WoW is just about to be released. Finally, some of us will be able to experience some very deep nostalgia.

However, what about if you only started playing World of Warcraft just recently or yet alone a couple of expansions ago?

That’s a question many new classic players will wonder. After all, World of Warcraft just turned 14 years old and earlier launched its seventh expansion.

WoW has been around for about 15 years. The initial launch of the game was in 2004 and since then the game has been changed multiple times. Different systems were revamped in order to make things a bit more streamlined.

With all these revamps in place, there is a massive difference between the vanilla version of the game and the modern version of the game.

Some people would even say that these are two completely different games. Here we are going to look into some of the differences between Classic Wow and Modern Wow.

Classic WoW Vs Modern WoW

The following are some of the differences between the two games.

Buffs

How buffs work in Modern WoW is that they are permanent buffs and people automatically get the benefits. In some cases, you have to apply the buff once and the effects last for an hour for the entire raid.

In the vanilla game, you had to apply buffs to each person or to each party. This meant that if you were doing the raid then you would have to apply the buff multiple times in order for everyone to have it. These buffs used a lot of mana.

This meant that mages would buff 2 groups and then drink a potion that would regenerate their mana. This would take a while. All this can get very frustrating if you need to wipe multiple times.

The buffs of the Paladins lasts 5 minutes. There is a group buff option as well but that lasts 15 minutes. So if you were doing a raid that was around 3 hours, then you would need to replenish that buff over and over again.

Map

In the vanilla game, the map was pretty large but there were regions in the map that were not used. There were 2 islands in the center of the map that were unused. The islands on the top, north of the maelstrom were unused as well. The north most part of the Eastern Kingdom had nothing as well.

These are a few examples of places on the map that were not used or just had nothing on them. In the modern version of the game, much of these lands are now used. That was not always the case.

Something worth mentioning is that there is no dungeon finder in WoW Classic. You had to travel to parts of the map and the same goes for your teammates. Unless you have a Warlock that can summon you to a specific location.

Dual Specialization

Switching your spec cost up to 50 Gold in classic WoW.

This meant that if you wanted to go from a PVP build to a raid build then you would have up to spend 50 Gold.

When you wanted to move back to the PVP build again, you would have to spend 50 more Gold. That is not the case in modern WoW. In the modern version, you can change specialization with a click of a button. This is one of the features that should have been implemented right from the start.

You could not dual-spec or save multiple talent builds in the classic version of WoW. The classic game had hybrid roles. So, while the DPS was pretty low, you could change roles quickly. Many stats that were present in the classic version of the game that were crucial at the time have now been removed in the modern version to streamline things.

Classic WoW had fewer classes. Classes like Death Knights, Monks, and Demon Hunters that are playable now, were not available in the old game. The Paladin class was limited to the Alliance and the Shaman class was limited to the Horde.

Priests used to have unique racials based on race. Druids had three talent trees. In the modern game, there are four. Feral Combat was used for Guardian and Feral Druids. Rogues used to have the Combat specialization instead of Outlaw. Hunters used to have an elaborate Pet Loyalty system and Survival was a ranged DPS spec.

Talents and specializations were very different in the older game as well. You had to pick a class and the spec-flavored abilities from talent points. 51 points could be placed into different trees and more powerful abilities were further down each tree.

Classic Talent System

The classic talent system features 51 points. These can be used in three different talent trees for each class. A player can split them into 3 different trees evenly or max out a single tree in order to get the final ability that is at the end of the tree.

Talents can improve different stats such as weapon skill and can even add new functionality to different abilities. These can also be used to teach the player new abilities. New abilities are unlocked after you spend 11, 21 or 31 points in a talent tree.

Much of this has been reworked in the modern version of the game. While the main system is pretty much the same, different stats have been changed and minor tweaks have been made in order to streamline the game and make it easier for the player to understand.

Class Roles

There are three main class roles in Classic WoW and the concept of a hybrid class role. The main class roles are Tank, DPS and Healer. The Tank class can take a lot of damage to protect the rest of the people in the party.

The healer is a spellcaster that focuses on healing the different people in the party. The DPS class focuses on dealing damage to enemies. Hybrid classes can deal some damage but the main focus here is on utility rather than purely DPS.

The following are the classes that can be used to play the role of the Tank in Classic WoW:

Druid (Feral Combat)
Paladin (Protection)
Warrior (Protection)

The following can play the role of a healer:

Druid (Restoration)
Paladin (Holy)
Priest (Discipline, Holy)
Shaman (Restoration)

The following can play the role of DPS:

Hunter (Beast Mastery, Marksman, Survival)
Mage (Arcane, Fire, Frost)
Warlock(Affliction, Demonology, Destruction)
Rogue (Assassination, Combat, Subtlety),
Warrior (Arms, Fury)

The following can play a hybrid role:

Druid (Feral Combat)
Paladin (Retribution)
Shaman (Enhancement)
Druid (Balance)
Priest (Shadow)
Shaman (Elemental)

It is worth mentioning that picking the race-class combination is very important in WoW classic as you cannot change it later on. So, once you have picked a combination you are stuck with it.

Other Differences

There is no transmogrification in the classic version of the game and no achievements either. The game does not have any areas. The world map and the mini-map do not show quest objectives.

While the talent system is more detailed in the classic game, it is not as impactful as the modern one. BFA has secondary stats that were never present in the classic version of the game. Races are limited to Human, Night Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Orc, Troll, Undead and Tauren in the classic game. Classes are limited to Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Druid, Priest, Mage, Warlock, Paladin and Shaman.

In the classic game, you can get your first mount at level 40 and the epic mount at level 60. In the modern version, you can get the first mount at level 20 and the epic mount at level 40.

In the classic version of the game, you do not learn skills automatically. Skills have to be learned from class trainers and doing so is not cheap.

In the classic version, you need to have resistance gear for certain fights otherwise you die instantly. That is not the case in BFA and you can pretty much have the same gear.

Epic mobs can be very hard to fight in WoW classic and it is better to take them on when in a party. That is not true in the modern version of the game. Making money is pretty hard too. The economy does not exist when you get into the game and it will take a while for you to figure out how you need to farm money.

There are no flying mounts in the classic game which can be seen as a pro or a can. The plus side is that it makes the world much bigger and fun to explore.

Summing Things Up

WoW has kept fans busy for a very long time and it has changed over time. The game used to be very frustrating and confusing but much of that has changed. The game has been revamped time and time again.

The modern version is more streamlined, easy to understand and simpler as compared to WoW classic. The modern game has more races and classes to choose from. The mechanics have been changed to make life easier for the player and leveling up is not as hard as it once used to be.

In the modern game, players can deal more damage and the mana cost is not as high for spells when compared to the classic version of the game.

How the New Season 2 Battle Pass System Works

The first level costs 9,000 stars and/or match XP, when it increases with 9,000 for each level, up to a maximum of 54,000 XP.

This resets back to 9,000 each week.

If you hit the 54,000 XP per level, it will take about 5 hours of survival time XP per BP level (Compared to 82 minutes of survival time XP per level in Season 1).

There are two main ways of leveling the battle pass: Weekly challenges or Stars/XP.

The first is directly from weekly challenges that give +1 Battle pass level. The second way is through stars or XP, which you get from play and challenges that give stars.

The +1 BP level challenges do not raise the stars/XP cost of the next battle pass level.

For example, if you have 3,000 stars/XP and need 9,000 for the next level, but first you complete a +1 BP level challenges, you will still be at 3,000 out of 9,000 Stars/XP.

The Most Efficient Way to Level in Apex Legends

Do the weekly challenges: Complete the 3 Weekly Challenges that give +1 Battle Pass Level. Weekly challenges won’t disappear after the week is done.

Do the weekly recurring challenges: Complete at least 10 dailies each week, to get the 2 extra Battle pass levels. these do disappear/reset at the end of the week.

With a total of 5 ‘+1 BP level’ challenges per week.

Results in 65 levels, now you just need 35 levels to reach 100 or 45 levels to reach 110.

So the question is.

If you only earn levels at x cost or below, how many levels can you earn each week?

The entire Season is 13 weeks in total.

As you can see, completing only weekly challenges that are worth stars when your Battle Pass level cost is at 27,000 or below will be enough for level 100.

Or completing only weekly challenges that are worth stars when your Battle Pass level cost is at 36,000 or below for level 110.

This means that earning levels at 45,000 and especially 54,000 is a waste of stars.

It is better to save the weekly 6,000 star challenges until next week, if your cost is at 45,000 or higher.

However, you can try to reach 45,000 with only XP from play and stars from daily challenges. If your cost is already near 54,000, it might be better to wait for next week when the cost will reset to 9,000 again.

Pro Tip: Look out for the XP bar right before reset! Make sure you aren’t at like 53,000/54,000, or you’ll seemingly have earned that 53,000 XP for nothing as it will reset back to 9,000.

Also, match XP does contribute to Battle Pass level progression. You can see your progress under “see all challenges” from the main menu.

Fun fact: The total amount of stars earned from all weekly challenges (that give stars) and 10 daily challenges per week is EXACTLY the amount of stars you need to buy all levels at costs 27,000 or below.

This might very well be the calculation the devs used to balance this leveling system.
In order to reach level 100, you just need to complete every weekly mission they give you. If you want to reach level 110, you have to earn a little more stars/XP.

What if You Miss any Weeks?

Missing a week (or more) worth of challenges would make it more difficult to reach level 100.

Each line represents a number of weeks you missed.

The % on the horizontal axis is the amount of daily quests you will complete in the remaining weeks. If the line falls below the red line, that means you won’t get enough stars from the dailies you do to reach level 100.

For example, You will miss 3 weeks, and the goal is to reach level 100. If you look at the graph, as long as you complete 40% or more of the remaining daily challenges from the other 10 weeks, you will reach level 100.

These numbers are based on earning levels at 45,000 or below. If you decide to also get levels at 54,000; you could technically reach level 110 even if you miss many weeks, as long as you play enough to get the XP to catch up.

In short, you could grind Season 2 by just playing, but it would take a lot longer.

It’s much better to just do (some) challenges.

You also earn XP towards the Battle Pass level from just playing the game. This was not taken into account since it varies a lot from player to player. The good news is that it will be somewhat easier to reach level 100 or 110 than the calculations show.

There are no casting bars in the regular game but with this add-on, you will be able to see the casting bars of your enemies. This will tell you which spells you need to interrupt.

It also tracks healing and other useful stats that you might need to know about at a glance. There are plenty of similar add-ons in the game but this is one of the best that you can use. It looks great and can be customized.

Ignition

This add-on tells you which mage has the ignite and how much damage is being done. If you are in a group and you do not see your name on the add-on then that means that you do not have ignite. This allows you to collect everything from mailbox in just one click. Getting items from the mailbox can take a while and it can get very repetitive if you have a lot of items. This changes things and makes the same task much faster.

Improved Error Frame

This add-on does not improve your gameplay experience but it will hide the errors that show up when you are playing WoW Classic. As you add more add-ons, you will start to get more errors and that will interfere with how you play the game. That is why this add-on is recommended.

Picking a class and race in WoW Classic is very important as you cannot change the decision that you make.

Once you have selected your race and class combination then you are pretty much stuck with it.

Here we are going to talk about the best classes in WoW Classic and race combinations that you can pick in the game.

Death Knight, Monk and Demon Hunter that are available in Battle for Azeroth are not playable in WoW Classic so we are not going to talk about them here. Draenei, Blood Elves, Worgen, Goblins and Pandaren are also not available in Classic WoW.

What is the Best Class in WoW Classic?

Now that we have covered some of the important points, we can look into the classes that you can pick in Classic WoW and the pros of cons of each class.

Warrior

The Warrior class lacks Spirit on its equipment that is why their leveling is relatively slow. If you pick this class then you will spend a lot of time running back to your corpse.

The warrior class is very useful as it’s the best tank class in WoW Classic. With this class, you can tank a group of mobs. If you pick this class you will not have any trouble finding partners up to level 60 as players are looking for tank characters to help them on their journey.

Once you reach level 60 you will be preferred for raids, over other classes. Provided that you use the protection tree.

If you are able to become the guild’s main tank you will become a cornerstone of the group. Keep in mind that this is not the best class for PVP. If you are alone then you are going to have a hard time. Things are different with a healbot on your side however.

Warrior is best when playing in a group, this class will struggle when playing solo or if you do not have crazy good gear. That is something to keep in mind if you are interested in playing this class.

The Hunter class can be a lot of fun to play. Playing a Hunter is pretty straight forward but they are hard to master. As a Hunter, you do not die a lot and you do not need to buy a lot of things so you can save up some gold. Playing the Hunter class is super smooth and a blast to play. The hunter is a damage dealer with a lot of range. While the Hunter does not have the highest damage in the game, getting away from one is very difficult indeed.

Rogue

Rogue is the best class when it comes to PVP. The main strength of this class is that it is stealthy and can start the fight first. This can give you a significant advantage in battle. Classes like mages, warlocks and priests are easy to kill as they cannot survive surprise attacks.

In PVE this is a very popular class in Classic WoW so it can be hard to get a spot in groups or in the raid. The Rogue class is very powerful in the game but that also depends on the gear and weapons that you have.

Undead Rogues are impossible to deal with and people actually think of them as things of nightmares. Rogue is a very solid class and you will have a lot of fun if you pick it.

Priest

The priest is the best healer in the game provided that you hit level 60. The priest has a very powerful shield and can heal single enemies effectively. If you pick this class then you will easily find a spot in a dungeon or raid.

It offers effective leveling due to its AoE ability and it can produce its own food and drink. Hence it is easy to get to level 60 as a Mage.

When it comes to PVE it is the best for ranged DPS. In PVP, you have some great skills at your disposal that you can use to your advantage.

These will allow you to easily kill 3 players single-handedly. If you can master this class then you can create a lot of chaos in PVP.

Mages scale well with gear but the gear does not look great. This is a personal opinion and you might not feel the same way. A skilled Mage is great against Warriors and can potentially one-shot people.

Great for a quick leveling
Gear Independent
Dynamic gameplay
Free consumables
Strong in PvP
All 3 specs are viable
Good for gold farming

Pros of the Mage class:

Warlock

Next, we have the Warlock Class. This class is similar to the hunter as you can easily get to level 60. Warlock shines the brightest in solo PVE. In raids and dungeons, the Warlock can to plenty of damage and can control mobs once you hit level 60.

The Healthstone and the imp can provide great bonuses in tough situations. This is something that you should take advantage of if you are interested in playing this class. The Warlock is comfortable to play in PVP as well.

With different pets, Warlocks can take on multiple mobs at the same time. This clock does not rely on gear too much which is another thing to keep in mind. Warlock is a great class to play and is pretty much unkillable in the open world.

Druid

The second fastest class when leveling to 60 is the Druid. This is a leveling machine because it can take the form of different animals.

You can call it a hybrid class as it can heal, tank and DPS. The Druid class is very useful in dungeons. Its unique ability allows it to resurrect in combat.

Druid class is also impressive in instanced PVP. It can defend itself pretty well but can be squishy depending on the spec that you have selected. Druids can still survive by changing form. This does not mean killing the attacker in all scenarios.

Druids are underestimated in the game but they have a lot of potential to perform great in PVP and PVE.

Druids do not depend on gear too much and have a lot of mobility. Druids are great for healing at level 60. While they are not the best healers, they are most efficient. Healing over time spells can be great for raids.

Pros of the Druid class:

Least played class in vanilla, so if you love this class, you’ll get all the gear
Resto is the only good way to play a druid in PVE and you’ll always find a place in a raid
Best PVP healer (Healing over time, bear form to tank, etc..)
Unique ability in PVE with “Battle rez” that can save a raid and innervate
Best flag carrier in WSG
Early travel form to level faster
Good leveling skills when you hit 20 as feral

Pros of the Druid class:

Shaman

The Shaman class in WoW Classis is great at healing. This is the only class that has AOE healing. This can be of great advantage when doing dungeons or raids. In PVP, enhancement spec is very popular. This spec can be used to one-shot an enemy is you are lucky. Elemental/restoration hybrid spec is also great for PVP as it gives the Shaman a lot of DPS. You can still heal allies.

The drawback of playing this class is that it does not have a lot of crowd control. This is an area where the Mages and Warlocks are much better. The Shaman does not have a lot of mobility either so getting away from enemies can be tricky.

Leveling up a Shaman is not easy either but things do tend to get interesting once you hit level 20 and unlock Ghost Wolf. This increases movement speed by 40%. If you have the right talents then you will be able to complete quests much faster once you hit level 20.

Shamans are not mana efficient and you will need to keep that in mind if you are looking to level up fast. This class does not have on-demand cooldowns so you cannot really solo hard quests with this class.

Pros of the Druid class:

Paladin

The Paladin is a hybrid class and like all the hybrid classes in the game, the Paladin is pretty average in all regards.

The leveling speed is not only slow but one of the slowest in the game. Paladins do well in PVE, in groups and raids. In PVE you should go with the healing spec. This will make it easier for you to find a spot in a group.

In PVP the Paladin is decent at best. Getting healing or Ret spec along with good gear can make playing this class a lot of fun. That does involve some grinding so keep that in mind.

This class has some of the most powerful buffs in the game which can be useful in raids.

Paladins can be a bit boring to play as you just stand there auto-attacking mobs. This class does have some of the coolest armor in the game.

You need to pick a combination of class and race.

In the modern game, races are more aesthetic and properly balanced but that is not the case in Classic WoW. Races can have a significant impact on the game and that is why you need you carefully pick the race along with your class.

Here are some of the best combinations that you can pick in Classic WoW.

Rogue

The best races for the Rogue class are Orc, Dwarves, Night Elf or Undead. Night Elves are great for pick-pocketing or making your way through dungeons. The dodge is also an added bonus if you are playing solo.

Who can kill a Rogue in PVP? A better Rogue.

Rogues can have a massive advantage if they attack first. That is why some people use the Human race with this class as you get increased perception. That way you can attack first.

Priest

If you are interested in playing the Priest class then the best races for you are Troll, Humans, Gnome or Undead. Human is a great choice for mana regeneration because of Spirit. You get increased mana regeneration and health.

Hunter

The Hunter class is best combined with Orc, Dwarves or Troll. Dwarves have Stormform which can be an Ace up your sleeve when playing as a Hunter. This ability is great for PVP and PVE. As a Dwarf, you can also take advantage of the guns skill.

Druid

The best race combinations for the Druid class are Tauren or Night Elf. If you are playing as Tauren of Night Elf then you should use the Feral spec.

Shaman

If you are interested in playing the Shaman class then you should consider a combination with Orc or Troll. If you are playing as a Troll then you should go for enhancement.

Paladin

Paladin can be a lot of fun when paired with Dwarves or Humans. Humans can take advantage of the weapons skill especially if you are playing the retribution Paladin. Dwarves are great due to Stormform which grants immunity to Bleed, Poison and Disease effects.

Mage

If you are interested in playing WoW Classis as a Mage then consider going with Troll, Gnome or Undead. Gnomes offer 5% Intelligence which will boost your mana and crit. You also have Escape Artist which negates the effects of any immobilization or movement speed reduction effects.

Warlock
